Awesome Letterpress Class

So last week I was lucky enough to find a local letterpress class only about 20 miles away in Santa Paula Ca. It was awesome! The class is taught by Fiona Spring in her home studio, Lettre Sauvage. It’s really nice to have a chance to break away from the digital and use your hands to make stuff. I felt like I had time traveled back to the 1930’s. The letterpress machines were large and made a sound to match their mass. Everything was cast iron or steel. I loved it! I’m sorry that I didn’t take any pictures while I was there but I will be going back to make some business cards and letterhead in September.
